In the back, Bill Mercer interviewed the doctor who was working on LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA after being attacked by Macho Man Randy Savage. The doctor said that Magnum was all right to wrestle, but advised against it as he was putting his championship reign at risk. Suddenly, Macho Man Randy Savage appeared and brawled with Garvin, quickly gaining the upper hand and throwing him into the interview set, knocking it down. Savage kicked Garvin in the head a few times and then turned to the camera and said, “Magnum TA, this guy (pointing down to Ron Garvin) doesn’t matter to the Macho Man. You think Cowboy Bill Watts put the target on your back when he paid me to take you out? The target was put on your back the minute that title was put around your waist, but that title should be mine right now. I was the first LCW Universal Champion and don’t think that I haven’t been thirsting to get the title back around my waist, where it belongs, ever since. I’ve been distracted by this guy (pointing to Garvin and kicking him in the head again to keep him down) for too long, I’ve gotten to involved in my brother’s business, but I’m back and I’m more focused than ever. Trust the Macho Man, believe the Macho Man, have faith in the Macho Man’s words when he says to you Magnum TA that you will not be walking out of LCW Endgame the LCW Universal Champion. You don’t get taken out by the Macho Man and then get up like nothing happened. But you haven’t even been taken out by the Macho Man yet. Don’t worry Watts, you’ll get your money’s worth. And to the man who does win the title, I want you to know that you can thank the Macho Man with a title shot. And if you don’t want to give me a title shot, just know that the target on Magnum’s back it isn’t permanent, it’s just temporary and it can easily be transitioned to another champion just like the title’s going to be transitioned back to the Macho Man…ohhhhh yeah!”

The audience started to chant, “Demolition!” The two men acknowledged the crowd and then shook hands before leaving ringside and making their way up the entrance ramp. Meanwhile, Tony Schiavone referred to them as “the first casualty of the Ultimate Endgame,” and questioned who would be next after the second Ultimate Endgame match tonight: Ric Flair or the Rock?

In the back, The Raging Bull Manny Fernandez was walking through the arena corridor when he ran into Terry Funk. Fernandez congratulated Funk on his victory over Abdullah the Butcher tonight and Funk said he was more focused than ever and was going straight to the top. Blanchard said if Roma would have to beat him tonight if he even ever wanted to consider being taken seriously as a Horsemen. Blanchard said he was born and bred to be a Horsemen and Paul Roma just got lucky. He said Roma got his spot when the Horsemen was reformed in WCW in 1993. Blanchard said in 2008, things would be different and Roma would just be handed someone else's spot. He said Roma would have to earn it and he’d have to go through him first, “…and there’s no way you’re going through me.”

Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) defeated Paul Roma in 10:13 by pinfall after the slingshot suplex. He said he wasn't going to take a backseat to anyone, not Superstar Billy Graham and not Don Muraco. Valentine asked where his shot at the title was. Flair said he was confident that he would beat the Rock tonight and send him back to Hollywood. LCW General Manager Nick Bockwinkel appeared and said he hoped none of that confidence came from Tully Blanchard and the possibility that Blanchard might interfere. Bockwinkel said one Ultimate Endgame match’s outcome had already been impacted by interference and he wasn’t going to let it happen again. Bockwinkel said Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll would be banned for ringside during the match. Blanchard and Baby Doll threw a fit, but Flair just walked away.

During the match, Macho Man Randy Savage came out and hit Magnum TA with the flying elbow smash and Williams took advantage and tried to pin Magnum, but Magnum kicked out of the pinfall attempt which shocked both Williams and Savage, who looked on in shock from the entrance ramp.
